Our courses include both an online (you must have a way to get on the internet) and in-person component. BOTH must be completed to graduate. If English is not your first language, it is highly recommended that you have someone who can work with you ahead of time to translate the online material for you.

1. Will I Get a Diploma?
No You will receive a certificate
Diplomas are generally granted after completing classes and hands on experience in a specific field. The course of study is usually longer than that involved in obtaining a certificate.
Certificates are usually granted to individuals who have participated in a shorter, more intensive course of study associated with career competency in a particular skill set.
2. Will I need to register with a governing board and pay membership fees?
No. we are teaching you a skill. DMT is a non-regulated therapy. You may be confusing the designation of
RMT with the Therapy type.
RMT (Register Massage Therapy) Vs. DMT (Deep Muscle Therapy)
RMT is a designation as opposed to a type of massage technique. It indicates an individual has registered with the College of Massage Therapists in their provinces (currently Ontario, British Columbia, newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island). These colleges set out professional standard and quality of care guidelines that they hold RMTs accountable to through a complaints and discipline process if their services do not meet the standards of practice. Thus a person can be an RMT but practice DMT but not all DMTs are RMTs
