Tyler loved everyone and had no problem sharing his love for those around him.
Tyler was born with mental disabilities and a seizure disorder. But our focus was on how he lived his life. He always had a smile on his face, and was full of love and empathy. He could tell when you were having a bad day or were down in the dumps. At these times he would do something simple like smile at you, hold your hand, say its ok, hug you, offer food or just sit with you, his mere presence was a calming effect.
Physically he is not with us anymore, but we can still have an emotional relationship, his spirit/essence will continue to live as long as we remember him and act in ways he did, with love and compassion for others.
Each year during the month of October we would like to raise funds for a worthy cause or organization that believes in sharing the love with others. As it is our hope and goal that this will be an annual fundraiser we will be working toward getting a not-for-profit status over the coming months.
Each year's fundraiser will culminate in a fun event (doing something Ty loved like dancing, skating, fishing etc) that can be shared with all who wish to participate--those that knew Tyler and those who believe as he did that love is to be shared and that happiness is a gift that we can always give to others.
Because we are not as yet a not-for-profit we are not able to issue tax receipts for any donations given until we acquire that status, however we will accept donations year around and put them toward the next year's funds. We will notify everyone of our status on this page as and when it changes however we will accept donations year around and put them toward the next year's funds. We will notify everyone of our status on this page as and when it changes
If you know of an organization that you think would be a worthy recipient of the funds raised please feel free to contact us at the website or Touchstone Therapies.

Thank you to everyone who donated this year in Tyler's honour. Those who attended had a terrific time celebrating, dancing, singing and socializing. The unveiling of the bench that Karen donated in Tyler's honour was also a huge success. There is now a place for people to sit and just talk to Ty if they want.
Mark the date and come help us celebrate International Self Care Day at 625B Turnberry St in Brussels.
Also come to say Happy Retirement to Sandra Touchstone's Matriarch and Founder.
